Troubleshooting Video Playback Issues
Help: Videos Won’t Play
Some visitors may find that the video player won’t start or stays stuck loading. This isn’t a problem with your device or the videos themselves — it’s due to how Wix’s video servers (CDN) work. Sometimes, certain regions get routed to a “bad copy” of the player files.
The good news is that it’s temporary, and there are a few quick things you can try that usually resolve the issue right away.

Quick Fixes
-
Use a VPN (Best Fix)
-
Connect to the USA, Germany, or another region.
-
Refresh the site, and the videos should start playing.
-
-
Change Your DNS (Cloudflare or Google)
Switching DNS bypasses your internet provider’s “phonebook” and points you to a faster, healthier server.-
Cloudflare DNS: 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
-
Google DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
-

-
-
Clear Cache & Refresh
-
Press Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac) to force a hard reload.

When will this be fixed?
This problem happens when the video servers (CDN) send some visitors to a “bad copy” of the player files. Normally, it refreshes or removes these bad copies automatically. In most cases, it clears up within a few days, but in some regions it can take up to a week. Once the servers refresh, the issue should be resolved completely without requiring any action on your part.
